The day had approached me with a ‘boom crack clash wishhh cack’ sort of manner accompanied by some flashing lights. It was moist and frosty on the outside and I was craving for some tea. I was not trying to join captain planet and the planeteers but instead my mother with her poor gardening abilities. After being dazed and confused by the thunder that stroke during the day I had never been so keen to attend to my exam. It was not the exam I was eager to meet but instead the mother of all nature. She had provided me with rain, hail, thunder, sunshine and a sand storm during these 300 days of mayhem and I was eager to rub shoulders or might I say the experience she was about to provide me with. I stepped outside the door high off of the breeze and music that was resting in my mem-brain. I rapped cheerfully as I strolled to public transport. The wind combined with rain was bashing me from all angles. That only made me HI-gher so I stood and accepted the way I was being treated. I crossed the very long road and that’s when I realized how much I appreciated the rain. I held my umbrella very closely and strongly as I prayed it would not break. The experience caused the traffic to stop and stare. A surge of wind battered my umbrella as it did my arms. I laughed hysterically at the outcome and my struggle to stay dry. I hope the experience made the viewers morning or perhaps their Monday, maybe even their week or year. I find that the best adventures you undertake are during the wet days. I hate it when people talk about the weather like it’s the girl next door. Abusing it with the foul use of words. It disgusts me that certain people in society think so appallingly of the weather. I say embrace it, forget your umbrella at home and rinse your selves in Mother Nature’s goodness.

Lately- Graduation

Apologies for the lack in posts and life on the blog. This past October month has been very crazy or might I say loco. The year has been so surreal and has sped past our eyes before you can say 'hi-definition'. I must admit i like it being eventful but sometimes i need to rest. Graduation occured meaning my life has just begun, or they say so. My life as well as reality have met prior to this exhilarating ceremony. Graduating for me means that I can finally attend to projects and live life as an adult not an adolescent. I will miss having that structure that the schooling years brought about but I am also ready to make hi-def happen as well as other secret projects. I don't want to make this sound like a thank you speech but rather a shout out to things that helped me cope through this loco filled year. A shout out to the fam-a-lam, The class of '09' and of course Kanye for providing me with the musical goodness through his educational themed albums. Love and appreciate all of you good people.
My head as well as many other class mates’ heads have literally been stuck in textbooks whilst our hands have been taking note of the year’s educational substances. Examinations have approached and hood and I have had no time to provide you with hi-definition viewing like we should. I would thoroughly enjoy singing ‘Guess who’s back in the house, with a bunch of souvenirs and a smile for you mouth… ’ (Lupe Fiasco’s Paris Tokyo) however I still have two more exams left to keep me company as well as concerts and natures calling. We are going to see WuTangClan as well as Nas in this coming week so be sure to keep your eyes on the lookout as we will keep you posted about the occurrences of those nights. Normal coverage will proceed as soon as this crazyyyyyyyyy (pronounce in a LilJon manner) week is done and did with.

I was not on a quest to seize anything really, perhaps Mon the day. I was dreaming pleasantly when I was dazed by a sistrens voice telling me it was 12pm. I just wanted to finish the last chapter of my dream so I could put it into my dream sleeve. For those viewers who are unsure, the sleeve is something I place my dreams into after they have been retold onto paper. I was driven to do nothing today, I just wanted to photograph and experience the thrills of thunder and rain. A few hours had past and my quest towards the indefinite was well on its way towards nothing. I was not bored just lethargic. After a few hours of self convincing I decided it was time to exit the door and take my company along. I strutted out the door without an umbrella for protection. I have to admit, I was worried and I’m not sure why. With ‘pursuit of happiness’ (kidcudi) lyrics emerging out of my mouth and my shirt covering my camera bag I walked and became saturated. It felt good though. The rain, the thunder, the thrill. The streets were empty, I felt like I was the only one at natures party. More homo sapiens need to get up get out and get something. The rain isn’t really that terrible.

Life Letter- haemoglobin

My nose could only smell the likes of chalk and the sky was red. Nature had some fn and added a new colour to the skies blue appearance. Here is an extract from a letter i wrote at the time of this bittersweet moment.

‘My nostrils flare at the sight of the microscopic dust particles towering the atmosphere. The habitat looks like a desert. Red patches of chalk odored sand impel into my pupils. The soles of my black chucks are evolving into a bloody tint. I feel like this is the start of my ‘National Geographic’ photographic career. The opaque skies create a façade to the sun’s few rays. The sun is a projector and the weather is the sheet of laminate. It is a perfect time to photograph, nature at its purest. I wouldn’t call it a disaster, more a major mass of human inhabitants left to be jailed in their cribs. A disaster to ones senses perhaps but to my lenses this is amazing.’

I had to experience a very maddening incident today. I know it may seem foolish of me to be complaining about such a topic but when it involves this line “shorty fire burning” and little boys then please excuse me.

There are only two exceptions for playing your music for the rest of the world to hear:
1. If you are in some deserted area where no-one can hear it.
2. Your at some sort of party.

Now I shall speak to you about the event I had to witness today whilst schooling it. I was on the bus this morning when a bunch of wack ass school boys started playing Sean Kingston's’s ‘Fire Burning’. First of all it was a public bus with not only public citizens but might I mention elderly passengers too. Like honestly do you really think that blasting your speakers to ‘shawty fire burning” will actually get the seniors grinding on the floor and calling 911? It was just so absurdly rude and disgusting. I am one that respects an individuals choices in musical pleasures but please just plug it. No one needs to witness such a thing with their ears. By all means don’t fear as I am here and i found a fresh pair of headphones that I assure will not only make your ears look dope but will allow you to enjoy your music while travelling on transport. Enjoy your own tunes.

These tears are not tears from today but from a build up of emotion from a long period of time. You push back the tears because it makes you feel weak inside to allow them to fall.

GZA at Metro Theatre. I was excited all week. Finally some real hip hop in Australia. i missed the feeling of being at a concert/gig and seeing someone perform live. Its so worth it, nothing compares. Apart from me and Nora being pretty much the only girls there it was incredible. The atmosphere was just so alive. He came out and ripped the stage, i was pretty much standing, just staring in awe. The way he is with words amazes me. You have got to listen to some of his tracks. He's been around for a long time (WuTang) so he knows what he's doing. Great night.

A night filled with wackness, strawberries, mexicana doritos and what have you not. It took us a precise four hours of dedication to make our official and first HI-DEFINITION tee of a shirt. It's our first and there will definitely be more to come for hi-def (brand wise). Hope you enjoy the appearance of the shirt as much as we did making it. I am one who appreciates buskers of all junctures. The way they can stay out and just perform for inhabitants Is astonishing. There are many buskers but there are only one group which impress me. If you have strolled in the city during the night you will know who I am speaking about. These buskers are only the most superb buskers your ears will take pleasure in hearing.

I discovered them a while back and was amazed by the musical goodness they delivered to the passing brothers and sisters. It was the ‘Viva La Vida’ performance which alarmed thy self. The way they could sing the chorus then pick up the violins Just in time for the bridging part was seriously an epic scene. These guys are stadium status I think. The mix of alternative tracks they perform every night near the ‘Hype DC’ store makes me feel blissful and G double O D good.

We were lucky enough to be venturing in the city streets last night as we had great pleasure in shooting some snaps of them for your viewing pleasures. I do believe however that an image for your eyes won’t deliver what they do each night they play. If your out in town you should seriously check them out. You will be left wordless like when you go to a live concert. Oh and we were so high off the pleasant sounding music that we forgot to get their names. For now they are the legendary buskers outside 'Hype DC' sneaker store.

The Cave Of The Yellow Dog

I was up and awake last night for absolutely no reason, but I am glad I was roaming through the channels as I came into contact with a film that was so calming and pleasant to my eyes. Foreign films with no plot and with commentary are golden. This film was set in Mongolia and composed by director Byambasuren Davaa . It strictly delineates simplicity and that’s why I could'nt blink as I did not want to miss a second of the blissful scenery. My state of mind and emotion was all very calm whilst watching the film. The graceful nature of the film and of course the very real people just made you want to suck the marrow out of life. They lived in essence of their atmosphere and they were very humble, a trait many inhabitants of the Earth seem to dismiss. Y’all should check it, It is so worth the viewing.

This blog post is long overdue, actually I highly apologise to the Followers of the blog and thank y’all for the patience. Just got home from a drive by which was hilarity. Being surrounded by grand inhabitants make my days ecstatic. It’s spring now and the weather is so blissful. The trees that were once in nude have grown some apparel and the sun is making some grand appearances every once in a while. The song that has been intruding my thought processes is ‘killing me softly’ by Lauryn hill. I have concluded that she is the only femme that I will ever listen to. School has sucked most of my energy out like Voldemort sucks souls. Exams just ended and art major is due in less then four days. I am freaking inside and out but I will give hi-def undivided attention as soon as everything is over ie. School/exams/art major. Just so that y’all are well aware paintshop is back in business. If you don’t know what paint shop is read ahead: Paintshop is a small business founded by dwalk in late 2008. Paint shop can make it happen. You know those days where you wake up and you're struggling to put an outfit together? The image in your head looks pleasant but once you put it all on its not all you imagined and so your running around like mad trying to find this and that and changing into a gazillion things just so you can have a few items that 'go' together. Time is running by and you start panicking and even start contemplating the idea of not leaving the house because its taking to much effort.

You finally have something on and its not because it looks good but because you cant be stuffed anymore. The room is a mess, clothes are scattered all over the floor. You leave and your out of the house and see the world only to realise that you look like crap. you want to run home but its too late now. You pray you get to where you have to go without seeing a single familiar face. The whole time thinking about another outfit that you could have and should have worn. Damn.

That's how i felt today. Just thought I'd let you know.

If only dressing was this easy. If only i were a guy.

Life Letters; Stress

Alot of people close to me have been feeling quite stressed and down lately. To be honest its frustrating seeing them like this. I hate stress and i hate how people let it rule they're lives. People always call me crazy and say 'Damn Huda your so chilled..' Well something along those lines. The only reason for this is because i don't care about stress. I'm not friends with it. Its been a while now but there's always one thing that's constantly on my mind. You want to know what that is? its death. I bet i sounded suicidal just then, trust me i am in no way thinking of killing myself and leaving this good life. People who know me would know this very well :)

One day we are all going to die and pretty much leave this thing called 'life' behind. Using that idea i prioritise everything in my life. I think about things that are going on this every second and then i decide whether me stressing or worrying over it is really worth it or not. Just take two seconds of your time and say to yourself will i be reacting the same way in a few hours or so? Am i exaggerating the situation? It totally changes your perception on the things that are important and the things that aren't so. I've seen way too many people waste time worrying and panicking about the little things in their life that at the end of the day really don't change anything. For example. HSC students worrying about the HSC, Uni students worrying about Uni, People worrying about what she said and he said. The list is pretty much endless. People will pick anything and make a big deal out of it. Thinking about the end makes you appreciate life now. Its too damn short and unpredictable.When we leave what we and people will remember is how we lived as a whole not all the tiny pieces. The bad times will be there too but its your choice now to make it not matter. Anything can happen, things will be thrown at you, challenges, obstacles but that's the beauty of it. How you can stand up, smile and keep going. We're all in this together.

Don't think about things too much. Go with the flow, take each day is it comes. Be easy.

So next time you're around me, please don't stress. Life is good..otherwise i might have to break into this lecture aha. Oh my i sound like a preacher.

Ramadan has begun and is in full swing. This one month a year that it happens is very special to my family and i aswell as all Muslim's around the world. It really brings everyone together and makes you appreciate everything you have in your life, not just food but family and friends, a home, life. I just feel good about everything during Ramadan.

The Anjam family were kind enough to invite us over for Iftar on Sunday. Hoolz (mussie for a day), Muna and i headed over there in the early hours of the morning. I couldn't contain my excitement. It was also my first time seeing the new pad since the move to Padstow. Its such a beautiful home they have and such a beautiful family they are. Stepping inside made me think about moving to place like that. Being surrounded by nature and sun. I felt so warm that day not just because it was hot but deep inside you know.

Zainy was quite eager to take us to 'The Creek' which he has been advertising for some time. We headed out to it. There were so many trees it was unbelievable. It looked like we were in a rainforest or something. And then there it was.. such an amazing view! My breath was taken away, literally. Sat for a while chilling and chatting, taking photos, throwing stones into the water, calling ducks, feeding ducks, leaving ducks.

Shortly after we got back family and friends started arriving and before we knew it, it was eating time. The amount of food we had was ridiculous. Everyone had also brought a platter of some sort on top of the food Mumma Anjam had cooked. Ate ate ate till we were stuffed. Watched two minutes of a few movies. Laughed, relaxed, enjoyed everyone's company. Smiles all round.

I don't know how Thursday's came about. I think we were all free one day and decided to randomly meet up. However it happened I'm glad it did. Thursdays are the best days of the week. A day to let loose, to chill and relax, a day to enjoy with amazing people.

This Thursday i met up with the crew at Circular Quay. We had quite the adventure! We were all over the place, so much happened i don't think I'm able to blog it all. So i was watching a movie yesterday which is too stupid to even mention but the trailer for this came on before it began. I literally sank in my seat and turned into a baby. It looks so good. And the guy. OMG the guy (Joseph Gordon-Levitt). That face just makes you smile. He reminds me too much of Heath Ledger and Heath was amazing. Love stories bug me sometimes because they can be so cliche and its all fake happy. But this looks real. And its from a guys perspective, finally! Go check out the trailer and watch the movie when it comes out. Why? because i said so. I'm hyping this up but its only because i know its gonna be sweet.

Life letters; People

Dee and i were both free a couple of days ago which was strange because I'm always working and shes always at school. But anyway this one day we both had nothing to do. Late in the afternoon we decided to head to our local Vinnie's store aka Kingsford to just look for some funky items. i was feeling really creative that day and also the weather was so beautiful. The sun was up after what felt like a really long winter.

Found some really good stuff. Two very old school dresses and a few belts (will blog in due time). I'm a sucker for prints and colour so i love shopping at opp shops and that. I find some of the best things. Anyways after that we decided to grab some coffee and head to the park behind the bus stop to just chill and chat. We entered this small cafe that both Dee and i had never been in. There was only one other lady sitting there. Now this lady was very intriguing. She was kinda mumbling to her self and when she saw us smiled and said 'hello'. The owner of the store was extremely talkative. She started a conversation which included all of us. She spoke of fortune tellers and the 'bullshit' they feed you, artists, people and getting her own way. Aha it was quite strange the way she just randomly was telling us all these things like she was venting at us. All Dee and i wanted was two cups of coffee. I liked it in a way, the fact that she was so open and was just expressing her self to two complete strangers. I'll quote some things that were said by the two ladies:

Owner: 'The other day this fortune teller came into my shop and said give me $200 and i can tell you your future'
Lady: 'So was she a cake fortune teller?'
Owner: *ignoring that comment* 'No, she was bullshit'
Lady: 'So she can tell your fortune from the cake crumbs you leave on a plate? for example..' *holds plate in front of her face* 'Oh look there's a kangaroo!'

I told you i would be in minor form on the blog and that i have. Hood has got good control of the blog and its happenings as well as the brand which has yet not been established and born. I will let you all know that we are working hard on giving birth to the brand and it will soon be out there for our audiences. Get Exhilerated y'all. It Monday morning and the weather is rather splendid. I think spring has sprung and the vegetation is photosynthesizing. I think i may just take my legs on a stroll and stroll they will.

Its been lovely lately. The sun has been up alot and that has immediately made me feel all warm and fuzzy. Its strange how the weather can have a strong influence on the way you're feeling. Life's been skating on. University here, work there, hanging with family and friends everywhere.

I haven't written on the blog in a while and so I'm sitting here trying to. I don't think I'm very good at writing that's why i try to steer away from it. I keep a diary but diaries are different. Diaries are written to yourself and they're in such a way that almost only you can understand them. Blogging is different, when you blog you're writing to others and that's sometimes hard for me to understand. I'm more of a talker. I like having real conversations with people, face to face and in their company. Its more special and more enjoyable. Technology these days does my head in. Its become too much of a way of life. I want to go back in time, back when life was simple.. and easy.

HIDEF update: bought some fabric paint the other day, in a variety of colours. Also purchased some plain black and white tees. I'll hopefully make one or two designs in the next few days. Keep you posted.

This post is long overdue. There are two reasons why. Firstly, the minute i landed i had a hundred and one things to do. Secondly, we took a ridiculous amount of photos there. Approximately 3000. Its taken me a while to collect all the photos and pick a few to post. This trip was the first 'holiday' Ive really taken since coming to Australia. Yes, I'm slow but i finally did it and thoroughly enjoyed it! I'm posting my favourite things about my time and the city. Enjoy.

1. Flying
The most incredible feeling ever. I felt so light and care free. Butterflies we're fluttering inside me and i was smiling from joy. Floating amongst the clouds was overwhelming. So beautiful i almost cried. Things like this are amazing!

2. Street Art

It was everywhere. On every corner, in every alley way it could be found. Very creative and very artsy people these Melbourne-ians are! Quite chilled too.

3. Trees

I never noticed how many trees there were. I love the way they look in winter when all the leaves have been lost, creating a silhouette against the sky.

4. After

By far the Best store in Melbourne! I'm so happy we discovered it on our last day there. It had the most amazing things, all hand made and individually crafted. Hamish the guy that worked here was pretty wicked too. Struck up a conversation with him and ended up buying a load of stuff items from him. If your ever down in Melbourne you must go down to this place and check it out. Definitely worth it. Its near Victoria markets. Absolutely loved it. Oh and welcome to the world Baby Thandi :)

Hood and i went on a quest to the city a few weeks behind. We were waiting in line to dine at a fine Thai restaurant when my eyes came in contact with a beautiful view. The constant pattern of humanities feet. There was of course no sort of engraved shoe print left on the concrete, just a series of pleasant photos. They are like a constant reminder of the diverse world in which we live in and of course the interesting choice one makes each day when picking which shoe sole they will use to walk with.

You will see me in little form for a period of four months. I am so busy with books and notes and pens and study, seriously my thoughts are flying like jets all over the house, i think they may smash to smithereens. I however do believe that life without stress and strain is abnormal. To experience calmness or the usual chill fully we must also experience tension. At this juncture reality is real and i can only work hard to overcome this besieged period. Oh and then after it all i can actually sit down and start creating hi-definition, although Hoodrat is working on it presently. I have so many top priorities and objectives that i cannot wait to meet. When typing this the song that runs through my overlapped thoughts is "Stressed out" by A Tribe Called Quest and Faith Evans. I think that song encapsulates my state of mind, thus being stress.

It was Thursday night in which we called for a meeting about where hi-def was going in terms of the street wear brand that comes of it. A few weeks after Micheals passing Dee and i were passing through the city and noticed a small crowd gathered in the middle of Martin Place. It was one of the most beautiful things i had ever experienced. People had randomly got together, playing all there favourite MJ tracks and were just singing and dancing carefreely. It was a very emotional tribute especially when the crowd linked arms and sang along to 'heal the world'. Very overwhelming feeling to see how one man can have such an impact on so many people.

Micheal Jackson is Legendary and no matter what the media says about his private life what he 'did' the only thing we can be a judge of is his music. And he made some damn good music. Everything else should not matter. Rest in Peace.

Wow a lot has happened since i last blogged. Its been a while since i last blogged, approximately a month. It would take a while for me to fill you in so I'll use keywords: University Holidays, Work, Melbourne, Shopping, School holidays, Family, Friends, Birthday. All a bit crazy really. But everything is slowly simmering down now as routine life kicks in.

Holidays were amazing. Went to Melbourne for a week. It was such an experience! I'll post a separate blog with images soon. Lets just say it was very interesting.

Speaking of interesting, SLR's are pretty interesting. Dee and I finally bought one. It probably the best purchase I've ever made. I've been experimenting with it quite alot lately, the photos it takes are amazing!

Oh my I've got so much to blog about. New brands, New inspiration, New images, New designs. So much the world needs to see and we're going to show it! Especially with young people. Young people need to be given more credit, So many talented people out there that are shining and yes Power to the People. Ok so I'm not sure what I'm saying anymore, i think I'm getting excited because i need to blog. I'm just feeling really motivated and happy. You'll understand when you see.

It has been a long while since i last blogged.
Things have been going down and things have not even moved. I have been living life with my books, pens, paint brushes, cameras and music simply. In fact i am seated right now accompanied by notes on Hamlet and a bowl of grapes whilst peering out the window at the moody skies. The world seems blue. Hood rat and the rest of the ladies were sky hi this morning as they flew to Melbourne for a trip of shopping until their knees become weak and being Flanuer's of that area. Speaking of Flanuer, i wrote an art essay today about Shaun Gladwell which reminded me of my very hysterical dream. I had a van that transformed into an obese skateboard which i was holding when walking through central tunnel. I was then approached by a Shaun Gladwell junior. He started reading a love letter to me whilst choreographing his fingers so that they formed heart shapes and almost spelt out my name. It was such a spontaneous dream that i will always think of when looking at his art. I will post a post on him sooner. The week is coming to an end meaning winter holidays, which means study for me and the rest of the oh nine graduating year. Time is sprinting and i am walking the year is flying and the day is ending.

Just got home from N/Z house. Don't know what to do. Maybe i should pack for Melbourne, its in five days and i feel the excitement quivers coming on. It is going to be amazing, i know it. So i public transport it everywhere i go and I've compiled a short list of fashion 'do and please don't' based on my observations whilst i am out and about. These topics are ones that i notice quite a bit and sometimes make me want to say to the individual 'Please go back home'

Sunglasses: Ones that don't suit your face in particularly the sizing of them. They cant be too big and they cant be too small either. If you don't know what to buy then don't go buying cheap $5 ones from random stores and go to a proper sunglass store and seek some advice. They're better for your eyes and they'll look better on your face. Eg. I was on a train once and there was this guy sitting in front of me wearing shades that were obviously too small for his face. The frames were pressing up against his forehead..NOT COOL
Thongs/Uggboots: unless your at the beach or running down to the shops to grab something quickly in a casual outfit otherwise NO. I saw this girl in the City once wearing quite a nice outfit- black denim, tee, vest, oversized bag and then wait for it...thongs! It totally killed the whole look. If your bothered to put an outfit together that looks decent then be bothered to grab a pair of shoes and put them on. Not only are they ugly but they're a health and safety issue too. So damn slippery you could fall on smooth surfaces. Maybe then that would teach you not to wear them.
Hair Regrowth: In particularly blonde hair with naturally dark hair. It looks cheap and trashy.
Camel toes: Ewww no one want to see your pants dragged so high up your crotch that it looks painful. Does anyone look in the mirror before they exit their home?
Supre/Mish Mash: Or any of those disgusting brands. Everyone can tell where you get that crap from and that's why no one shops there except for you teens that are to immature to develop your own style and individuality and like to copy what you believe 'everyone' else is doing. Grow up.

Last night was, in one word Amazing! Blu and Exile gig at the Civic 'Underground'. Got into Blu couple of years back. His style is on the same level as Lu but with soul and that's what attracted us to his music. Got there at 9, show didn't start till 12-ish. We were VERY surprised to see Blu standing amongst the crowd whilst the preshow Djs performed. He was just chilling and so we took the opportunity to take a few snaps and talk. I was in such awe. Photos do not do this guy justice. So much finer in 'real life'. AHHHHHH I'm on such a high right now. Screamed my heart out when 'Below the Heavens' came on. That is my song! Made alot of eye contact with Blu ;)

Whats so good about money? Yes we need it to live but why is everyone so damn stressed out about it. People think that money makes the world go round, that without it your pretty much nothing. You only need enough of it to get by and that's it. You don't need alot of it to have fun either. having fun is surrounding yourself with good friends and family. My work people annoy me sometimes. they're constantly complaining about work, money and how hard it is. If you want your money then just do it. Maybe I'm not complaining bout the topic of money so much here, maybe I'm complaining about complainers. I think everyone needs to chill and just put everything into perspective. And when you put money into perspective think about this: 'You cant take it with you when you die'. So use it, throw it in the sky, live your life and most importantly be happy!

Yesterday was a very splendid day in which Nora my fellow adventurer and i ventured into the streets of the city. I was on a mission as was Nora. I finally purchased my RayBan specs and Nora finally hustled for her 'i eat haters' jumper. When i say hustle i mean when she collected the jumper it was like a hustle. Prior to this the day was very loco, like our adventures usually are. We entered general pants and The Lupe cons were on sale so Nora bought a pair.We then ate the usual burger and salad with cola then went into Myer where we unfortunately did not spot Lupe lookalike. Nora went to her favourite keyboard and pretended to be a DJ, it was awkward to watch her scratch the keys but I'm used to it. Following this we went on a quest into oxford street as we wanted to view the Espionage store which seemed very exclusive. (Espionage is an urban street wear / sneaker store) We entered and a familiar face enlightened thy self. This really divine looking boy that i have rubbed shoulders with once in the past. He is very beautiful, and yes i don't think literature can sum up his beauty.Nora purchased a t-shirt for Zahra because i think she felt the need to be served by him. We went to get Nora's jumper after being served by pretty boy and she was excited. She doesn't ever take it off because she loves it so much. Its by this Sydney brand called "Sneak Preview"and they design tees and jumpers. I will blog about them soon. Our day was ending as we strolled to the Bustop. Nora holding a bag with a pair of shoes in one hand and a jumper thrown onto the other. We glided through the central tunnel and i could hear a very familiar voice. Hood and my favourite busker was singing sweet tunes with his angelic voice. I gave him my spare change and smiled. We were out on the streets again at the Bus stop. I was reading the 3d magazine and was exhilarated when i found out that 'Blu&Exile' were coming to do a concert on Friday. They are truly the greatest.

Monday it is.

Woke up from a very wack dream. It was a very chilled out day. Hit the park in the noon as i was eager to sit on the fresh green grass under the suns light. I lay down and watched birds bees and a balloon sway in the sky. The kids were there so i managed to capture some photos and also be enlightened by their young behaviours. It was splendid and peaceful.

Sneaker Freaker.

'Whats the first thing you notice when you meet someone? THEIR SHOES!'

The thing is I'm slightly obsessed with sneakers. This began like a year or so ago i just stared noticing peoples shoes. I mean its not just sneakers shoes in general are representative of a persons individual style and taste and in a teaspoon amount can tell you abit about that person. And right now i feel like design is at a peak and it just keeps getting better and better. Some of the shoes I've seen are like works of art. Shoes that are not meant to be worn but collected. Eg. The Lupe Fiasco x Cons 'Supplementaire'. I bought my pair but i don't think I'll ever wear them, every time i take it out of the box i get amazed with how beautiful they are however silly that sounds. I'm going to stop talking and just show you what i mean.

Went to easties again to return i couple of items that i purchased on my mad shopping night couple of days again. I also had to buy masks for tonight's masquerade. I took Dwalk and the girls to general pants so they could perve on the pretty boy and they did. Except we were quite disappointed with the service i men they didn't even approach us to ask us if we needed help or anything Nora and i wanted to buy a pair of black cons NOT ANYMORE! well not from there anyway.

Phoebe Keen was working so we freaked her out abit. After shopping we headed to Brighton maccas for a late night snack and chill session. It was very fun. There's a TV inside that plays videos clips and so we were making fun of them and laughing at them. Zahra entertained us with her Late night Sudoku story and then we all headed home.

So tonight is the night i think most of us have been waiting for: The Masquer[aid] What it is, its a event organised by event managing students at Ultimo Tafe. They've organised a Charity Ball to raise money for kids with cancer. You pay like $15 for a fab night and you get to dress up and its just going to be an awesome night! I've got the Day off today so I'm going to tidy the house u a bit cos right now it looks like a bomb hit it and then shower and start getting ready. So geeed.

Check it. So a couple of weeks ago i was on my way to work and i happen to notice this fine fella walking in front of me. i think i liked what he was wearing and that's what caught my attention. I didn't get to see his face properly. But from his side or should i say 'profile' i remember thinking

'oh my god he looks like that kid from Blue water High'

He was wearing a 'General Pants Co.' lanyard and so i knew wear he worked. Anyways over the past few weeks Ive been window shopping past General Pants to see if he has been working. And not in some creepy stalkerish way. I'm at easties all the time and i shop on my breaks so yeah. So the thing is i haven't seen him since the frst time i saw him.

Today i was working til 1 o'clock and since its stocktake sale time i was passing general pants and popped in to see if they had anything, totally forgot about the guy. There was a good song playing, couldn't remember any of the lyrics and guess who was there? Him. And i was like Damn because i saw his face properly and then something else clicked. He looked so familiar, as familiar as the guy from blue water high. He was wearing such nice clothes too. I had to stop myself from staring. You know when you see a 'celebrity' you don't want to make it obvious that you know who they are especially when he's from a show like Blue water high and Creature Features (Muna watches it) its kind of embarrassing.

Just got home from work and googled him. His name is Adam Saunders and he looks ten times better in 'real' life than he does in this photo.

Sitting and chilling with the kids. They are so interesting to watch, they are like little scientists in their own world speaking unusual words. Picked Hussien up from school. He always speaks about how strong he is and how he defends his friends and doesn't like this particular girl in his class because she dislikes him. Kids have such simple lives its amazing, and what is more amazing is that we used to be kids once before, i don't like to age.

Studying at the 'Library'.

If anyone ever says this to you, don't believe them. Going to the library is statement used quite commonly among young adults to disguise the fact that they are going out with friends to chill and talk and do absolutely everything BUT study.

Worked today. They called me in the morning whilst i was in a deep sleep. I was having a very intense dream except i cant remember a thing. And i try real hard but i get nothing. I hate that. Anyways work woke me up and it made me angry. What made it worse though was they put me in homewares. I hate that department, its boring and slow.

Lemrat and Aysha Bear dropped by in the arvo. They spent some time in Myer doing god knows what. Our store is so small they got a bit excited. Finished round 4.30 and then went on a shopping spree at Kmart with Lemrat. We then went to the 'library' to wait for aysha to finish her shift. Phoebe Keen was there, sat in the kids corner playing children's trivial pursuit and eating food. Did some grocery shopping at Coles and that's about it.

Monday. The only thing i like doing on Mondays is sleeping in and watching Ellen and the view and the cooking shows that cause my mouth to water, Though i cant do any of this. School and its books and pens await my presence. It was such a blurred day today, one because i forgot my G's aka glasses and two because it was so damn slowwwww.I forgot to wear a beanie so my head was losing the heat hard. The only exciting part of the day for me was listening to music. i usually listen to college dropout, late registration and graduation. Those Yeezy albums are a huge part of my last year of schooling. They sum up everything with melody.Sometimes you need to get away from gossip and cheap talk so music is the greatest invention for everything. I always need music. I feel like candy and chocolate and tea.

Currently at UNSW basement. Carolyn has behind the scenes access here and she has invited us for a party. We are all very hungry and waiting for Thai food that we ordered. taste of Thai is being annoying.

These labs are so cool we are surrounded by imacs, exactly 20. Nora would die to be here. I love chilling with my girls.

Wow it has been a long while since i have typed. I have just been so busy with school and art and trying to work with my old school camera. Life is loco but i like it like that. I will briefly type about my week:

Monday-I stayed home and watched Ellen the view alongside all the other daytime TV programs. I want to go to America and like go to all those shows, that would be very splendid.

Tuesday-Double bio meaning two hours of copying 50million overheads. By the end of the day my fingers were dancing.

Wednesday-I should have stayed back to do some art but it was freezing and i was tired. The kids were over and they are the coolest kids around. They make me smile.

Thursday- Today was like woah.Went to the zoo to study the chimpanzees for bio which was so
weird. I feel so sorry for those animals. Life seems so Boring for them, they knew we were watching them so i tried not to look. I was thinking about my childhood dream thereafter, how I've always wanted to go to the rain forest to explore and photograph the green atmosphere and take a woop of the fresh air.Its so beautiful. Came home in the afternoon and slept for 10minutes. I then dressed up and went to the mall with hoodrat to finally search for glasses. Although huda was a bit resistant to go i made her come as she knows everything about which specs suit my face. Glasses bras and jeans are always the hardest things to shop for but i found a pair of fresh RayBan's that are classical, now I've got to find the colour i want them in.

Friday-Photo day is happening and all the girls are going loco. Its our last school photo day so i understand but as much as everyone tries to look their best there is always something bad. What i didn't understand though was the juniors. I went to the bathroom and was in shock, someone had snipped a massive chunk of hair off their head. It was so disturbing to look at, like seriously who does that. I thought to myself about that superstitious thing about how if you step on someones hair they get a head ache, but i didn't do it. Like seriously hairdressers exist on our planet E for a reason. Going to an all girls school can be annoying sometimes.

Later on in the day i went to Nora and Zahra's crib where we hanged. Nora was eating all the mandarins and laughing at my finger reflex popping. Zahra was skating the www and dancing to her favourite songs.

Today is Saturday and i have done nothing. Sometimes its good to do nothing. I tried to sleep in the noon but these little girls were sitting outside our respective crib and inappropriately giggling and yelling absurd things. I knew the girls so i told them to shut up and they ran away and thank the lord for that because i managed to sleep for 2 hours and dream. I don't know what to do tonight but i do feel like coffee and cheesecake.

Class started two hours ago. Oh am I late?

University yesterday. Final day of first semester 09. You know what that means? Holidays! And you know what holidays mean? Melbourne. Oh i am so excited. But yes it was quite full on the last lecture. Wrote down a whole bunch of stuff i barely understand. There was a girl though sitting in front of me who was drawing the whole three hours. It was quite bizarre what she was drawing. she kept writing 'Hope is Here' in bubble writing all over her pages and colouring it in with a black marker. I don't think she looked up once, she was really into it. And then she started drawing stained glass windows and doves. Micheal and I came to the conclusion she was one of those 'Hillsong camp youths'. I don't get it. Why the hell waste three hours of your day sitting in lecture your not even interested in? i mean go home and...pray.

I'm really annoyed at a certain someone. What the hell is wrong with you, why push away the people that care about you for no apparent reason and hold your nose up at us as though we've done something wrong. Screw you and the little world you live alone in.

Harsh i know, but this isn't out of the blue. This is a build up of emotion (over months) and i want to, need to vent it. This person is going to be one of those people that don't appreciate what they got till its gone..'

Onto a more positive note. Lets talk clothes. I don't have enough. came across the brand Barkins when i went DFO shopping with Anjam and LeemLeem. Its got some really nice stuff and for not that much aswell. They have a store in the city apparently. I'm going. These are some of my favourites.

Work was boring or should i say oring-bay. Ive been speaking 'pig latin' alot lately because its fun. It reminds me of old times when we would have full conversations in this 'language', usually secretive ones when we didn't want anyone to know what we were saying but the funny thing is we all knew how to speak it.

Speaking of speaking. There's not much for me to say tonight. I'm going to start blogging all the pictures I've collated over the past few weeks but haven't been able to upload because of my computer. This one here is of a magazine i found at Borders titled: Wonderland. Live Tyler covers it and she looks so damn good. What a yummy mummy. Im going to go relax, paint or something. I'm feeling 'slow' today.
